This Wednesday, Feb. 13th we are celebrating WINTER WALK TO SCHOOL DAY!! We have challenged our students to see which class can get the most students (who are not on a bus) to walk to school! The winning class will be celebrating with a pizza party! Wednesday morning please leave the cars at home and walk to school – there will be staff handing out tickets at the different entry points on the playground where the paths come into our yard. The students need to hold on to those tickets and present them to their homeroom teacher when they come in. We will tally the percentage of potential walkers and actual walkers to determine the winning class!! Walking to school is good for children – for their health, wellbeing and learning – LET’S MAKE THIS A HABIT NOT JUST AN EVENT!!!
