The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school and you are invited to come and share in this celebration of literacy with us! Our goal this year is to support and build a home reading program at Janet Metcalfe PS. This program provides students with an opportunity to bring levelled readers home that will help students develop reading strategies and vocabulary that are targeted at their reading level.

During the week of February 20th-26th, the Book Fair will run during your child’s scheduled library time. The Book Fair is also running during the special Family Event from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday February 21st.

Your support can help the school blossom with new and exciting adventures in reading, stimulating young minds for years to come.
