As you may know a new elementary school is opening September 2022 at 80 Tartan Ave., Kitchener. The WRDSB is in the process of establishing a boundary for the new school through the Fischer-Hallman/Huron Elementary Schools Boundary Study (Part II). WRDSB Trustees are expected to vote on recommended boundary changes on January 24th, 2022.

The WRDSB has opened Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 school year as of January 10th, 2022. Unfortunately, since the school boundary for the new school is not yet approved parents and caregivers cannot yet register for Kindergarten there. For those wishing to register their Kindergarten student at the school at 80 Tartan Ave., and believe that they reside in it’s proposed boundary we would ask that you wait to register until it becomes a selectable option in the registration system (estimated early February).  For any registrations that have already been submitted, we will be reviewing the address to ensure that the correct school is selected, once all the boundaries have been approved.
